SweepGrind collects a minimal amount of data so the site works. We don't sell it, we don't trade it, and we don't track you across the internet. Here's the breakdown.
When you visit SweepGrind, our analytics provider (Google Analytics) logs: your IP address (anonymized), browser type and version, approximate geographic region (country/state), the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and session duration. This is the standard analytics data any website collects.
If you create a SweepGrind account for the Dashboard feature, we store: your email address, a hashed password, your display name, and your tracking-related data (which casinos you've added, bonus history, streak data). Nothing else.
When you email us at sweepgrind@gmail.com, we obviously have your email and whatever you chose to write. We keep that correspondence until it's resolved, then we delete.
SweepGrind uses cookies for: maintaining your login session (if you have an account), remembering your dark/light theme preference, and powering analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser. The site will still work but some preferences won't persist between visits.
When you click an affiliate link to a casino's site, the casino's affiliate network (e.g., VGW Partners, Income Access) may drop a tracking cookie on your browser so any subsequent signup is credited to us. That cookie is set by the casino, lives on the casino's site, and is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
Analytics data is retained for 14 months then automatically purged by Google Analytics. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Delete your account and it's gone within 30 days. Email correspondence: max 2 years.
Regardless of where you live, you can at any time: request a copy of the data we hold on you, request we delete your account and all associated data, request corrections to any data we have on you, or opt out of analytics entirely. Email sweepgrind@gmail.com with the subject "Data Request" and we'll action it within 30 days.
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA. EU/UK residents have specific rights under GDPR. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah have rights under their respective state laws. All of these are honored.
If we materially change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the "Effective" date at the top. Major changes also get announced in the site footer for 30 days.
