01 The bottom line

Dabble is a real-money daily fantasy pick'em app, not a sweepstakes product. You deposit actual dollars, pick more or less on player stat projections, and cash out actual dollars. It launched in the US in October 2023 and has been one of the fastest-growing pick'em apps since, mostly on the strength of one feature nobody else does as well: the social feed. Every entry on Dabble can be shared, browsed, and copied with a tap.

The product is legitimately fun and the $5 minimum deposit makes it the cheapest real-money pick'em app to try. The weaknesses are practical. The market menu is thinner than PrizePicks or Underdog, withdrawals run through bank transfer only, and it operates in 28 states plus DC, so check the list before you download. A-tier product with B-tier banking.

02 Is Dabble legit?

Yes. Dabble Sports LLC runs the US product, which operates under the daily fantasy sports framework in the states where it is live. This is real money end to end: real deposits, real entry fees, real withdrawals to your bank account. Identity verification is required, and you generally need to be 21 or older, with a lower age in a handful of jurisdictions.

The real complaints we found are quality-of-life, not solvency: users want more markets, correlated entries sometimes get blocked, and the deposit menu is short. App-store feedback also flags friction in account verification for some users at withdrawal time. Nothing in our research pointed to people not getting paid.

03 Bonuses & promotions

Dabble's welcome offers rotate, and recent ones have run around $10 in bonus cash credited after your first entry of $5 or more, with no deposit required for the bonus itself. Bonus cash typically needs to be played through before it withdraws, on a clock, so read the current terms in the app before you count it as money.

This is a modest welcome package next to the big DFS apps. Dabble's pitch is the product, not the bonus. If you are strictly bonus hunting, bigger matches exist elsewhere.

04 What you can play

The core game is more-or-less on player stat projections across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football, college basketball, tennis, golf, soccer, and esports. Two entry modes: All In, where every pick must hit, and Hedge, which pays reduced amounts when one leg misses. Adjusted Picks add bolt and shield options that trade difficulty for payout in both directions. Max payouts run to 1,500x on standard entries, 7,500x with Adjusted Picks, capped at $50,000.

The copy-betting feed is the reason to pick Dabble over its rivals. You can follow other users, see their entries in real time, and mirror any entry with one tap. It turns a solo grind into something closer to a group chat with money on it. The trade-off is board depth: fewer players and stat categories are posted than on the biggest pick'em apps, and sharp correlated combos sometimes get blocked.

05 State availability

Dabble is live in 28 states plus Washington DC: Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming among them.

That list covers the giant DFS states (California, Texas, Florida) but misses New York and most regulated sportsbook states. If your state is not listed, the app will geolocate you out. Availability changes as states rule on pick'em products, so check the current list in the app.

06 Payouts and trust

Deposits take Apple Pay and Visa, Mastercard, or Discover cards, with a $5 minimum that is the lowest we track in the category. Withdrawals are the weak spot: bank transfer only, to an account in your own name, processing in 1 to 3 business days on weekdays. No PayPal out, no instant rails.

User reports of payouts landing are consistent, and some hit in under 24 hours on weekdays. The verification friction some users report is standard KYC pain, worse if your documents do not match your account name. Set your account up clean and the money path is boring, which is what you want.
